This is who I was going to say! Epic unique voice.
As a musician and audio quality champion, Neil Young said in 2012, “Steve Jobs was a pioneer of digital music. But when he went home, he listened to vinyl.”

This lady has lots of voice but hasn't the "feeling" behind it. Its just music by rote.

Me, I'd take the ones below with a tip of the hat to Celene Dion

    Barbara Streisand

    Ann Wilson

Neal Diamond in the earlier years

  • 30 seconds of that beat had my heart beat racing...in a creepy, awful sort of way. Interesting voice though.

  • Totally forgot about Boxcar Willie.

Good call, Donk. Early Boxcar was amazing. Then the fame started going to his head and the song writing got repetitious and lazy. His dark period when he was hooked on trannies and ludes had some good songs, but not an 8 track worth, know what I'm sayin.

Still, for my money the best hobo musician since Anne Murray.

Last I heard they were done for a while, and that he wants to finish his solo album he has been trying to get out there for years. I think he would have killed it with Zepplin had that whole thing come to fruition.... sigh.

  • I'll have to go with Bruce Dickenson from Iron Maiden too, the guy sounds just as good as he did in the 80's and is a heck of a frontman.
