Movies you love that don't seem to get the notice or appreciation you think they deserve.

I'll offer up, in no particular order:

Beowulf
City Island
In Bruges
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

Mystery Men
Bubba Ho-Tep
Very Bad Things

Listed as least to "most" appreciated. Never understood how Mystery Men never took off, it was brilliant. Although pretty much anything Stiller has directed never really took off, even Cable Guy.

Last Man Standing. (Bruce Willis in a western in Texas along the Mexican border during prohibition. Over the top, and the better for it.)
In the Mouth of Madness. (Sam Neill, one of the best horror movies ever.)
Equilibrium. (Christian Bale, it's the film where I knew that Bale would be a great Batman before Batman Begins came out.)
The Butterfly Effect. (Ashton Kutcher; he proved he can really act in this.)
Last Action Hero. (Arnold Schwarzenegger, campy action-comedy that I really enjoy.)

Shut up.

If you'd have said Traveling Pants 2 I'd have bought it. Because it's true.

Oh snap, Pe. I totally agree with Dark City. I need to watch that again soon. Great movie, and weird as hell.

I always thought Apocalypto was very underrated and not appreciated because Gibson was going through his problems.

Some great movies listed here. A couple of my favorite movies that no one has seen: About a Boy, For the Love of the Game, and Smoke Signals.

For the Love of the Game is an excellent one. Quite possibly my favorite sports movie.

Zeb and Sac lost what little street cred they had. Did I lose my street cred by saying street cred?

I echo J and Golden. I don't the Man on Fire wss underrated but is one of my favorite movies.

Lawless. Before the Devil Knows your Dead. Made.
