So my friend is all like "Hey dude you're supposed to turn your clocks ahead today. It's spring forward." And I was all like "Nice try dude...but it's still winter". What a jerk trying to trick me into turning my clocks ahead.

I went to the store last night at 1:30 to get a beer and the dude rang it up and stuck it in the bag, but before I could pay him for it another dude comes in the store and says "is it too late to get a beer?!" and the clerk looks at his watch and decides that it is in fact too late to sell beer. I'm like "dude, it's still only 1:30, the time doesn't change till 2:00" but he was all "nooooope. that's not how it works for us" and takes my beer out of the bag and cancels the transaction. So I went across the street and bought a beer from the other store who apparently better understands how concepts like time work.

The moral of the story is, buy enough beer at 8:00 to last through the night, and it IS an hour earlier than yesterday, like it or not.

1:30 AM is a perfectly acceptable time to buy beer.

Why does the government hate people who work graveyard shifts?

and what possible trouble can you get into with beer you buy at 4am that you can't get into with beer you buy at 1:55am? if you're buying beer at 1:55am you're more than likely already drunk, if you buy beer at 4am you're more than likely getting off the graveyard shift.. idk
