I did that once. Dropped a 2-liter of Mountain Dew on the ground base-first, and it shot off down the street by itself.

I think it would have been stinkin' hilarious to have captured that whole sequence on another camera. It's funny enough seeing the bottle come straight at the camera, and knowing it all happened before the guy holding the camera had a chance to process what he was seeing and react -- but I think I'd be blowing snot bubbles from laughing hard if i could have seen, from a different angle, the cameraman getting clobbered by a self-propelled plastic bottle.
