Saw them Saturday in MSP at an old theater that holds 2,700.
Phenomenal show.
There live show this go around greatly. Opened with Incessant Mace and closed with Slaves and Bulldozers. Other highlights were Fresh Tendrils, Zero Chance and Ty Cobb.
Saw them a year ago at Red Rocks and The Gorge and again in Melbourne, Australia.
If you have the chance, I recommend it.

I must admit I was very disappointed by the new album. It just seemed uninspired to me.

yep love soundgarden, but listened to that King Animal and was not impressed. I'm gonna have to listen again, preferably on a cloudy rainy day.

I'm not the one who is going to jump in and defend King Animal (the record). I like one song on the album a lot (Taree) an thought a couple were decent and a couple were interesting and a couple were meh and a couple were embarrassing. But seeing the band live, I have had to reconsider my approach to these songs. They seem to breathe live which makes me question the production choices on the album. Not sure, but I solidly and unequivocally endorse their live shows on this tour.
I look forward to hearing what others think.
