Pretty decent viewing of the excess of the 80's in Rock n Roll.

  • I thought it was fairly well done. Some of the timeline doesn't line up exactly but overall it was entertaining and accurate enough. If you are Crue fan it is worth your time.

    You’re back! :irishdrinkers:
And YES, I have already watched it twice. I thought it was very well casted. Machine Gun Kelly was very impressive as Tommy Lee.

Yup. This will be a subdued version of the old me (because I'm Sagittarus) and don't hold back. But yeah, the movie was casted well and was pretty good.

  • Watched most of it...Great over all. They did a decent job casting the actors that look like the actual people. Overall, it's very entertaining.

  • I forgot about Vince Neils daughter.

That was hard to watch, even on Netflix

  • Fantastic. Gotta love a movie that all the critics hate but everybody else loves. Just raunchy AF too. If you haven't seen this yet do yourself a favor and put the kids to bed and have yourself a time.

  • Netflix's bottomless pit of money saved The Dirt from being a cheesy VH1 biopic..........because the acting and dialogue was horrifically bad.

But as a child of the 80's who was way into metal, it was fun to watch. But again, it being on Netflix allowing Sixx and the producers all the money they needed to make it big screen worthy with production and budget, which made up for some terrible acting and writing.

Still worth a viewing, even if you aren't a fan of the band. They definitely didn't pull any punches.
