  • God, this movie is dumb. I admit it can be fun in a turn-off-your-brain kind of way, and Chris Pratt is as charismatic as ever, but by god, I swear, every writer that approaches a Jurassic Park movie has to be thinking at every pivotal moment in the script, 'What is the dumbest thing this character can do right now?' and then writes it in. I mean, I realize that this series has this problem, but at least the first 3 movies were self-contained, however, the Jurassic World films are all about setting up sequels, so they need to make good and sure they #$%& up everything for the next one in 3 years.

4/10, 2 of those for the fact that Pratt is damn charming, 1 for the fact that he's a Seahawks fan. I have no clue how Colin Trevorrow keeps getting work.

  • The last one was bad enough that I have basically no interest in seeing this one. The trailers have done nothing to pique my interest. I'll probably watch it once it's out on digital.

The first Jurassic World deserves to have won an Oscar compared to this.

    That is only faintly hyperbolic.

I stand by my statement. I've seen a number of worse films in theaters, no doubt, but the only thing I've seen in my entire life in a theater that was more disappointing was The Dark Tower.
