It was just OK for me, Bullock and Malkovich elevated Birdbox above it's pretty poorly told pedestrian story.............."Umm there's this evil..............but we won't tell you what it is...................or where it came from........................and here are all these survivors...........................and other than the main character we're not gonna be assed with telling you about any of them..............."
I'd guess the book does a much better job of fleshing everything out, but the movie? Eh, not so much.

Aros wrote:Enjoying S3 of The Travelers. It's like a really good sci-fi network series. (Maybe it was? TNT or something?) Although I am not pleased with the ending of how the episode "David" ended. Without giving any spoilers away, I hope they can remedy it with the magic of time travel. I will watch the next episode tonight.
Trying to get through the final season of House of Cards. Slow going. Dammit Spacey, why did you have to turn out to be a pedo? The show is nowhere near as engaging and delicious without Francis Underwood.
Awkward obligatory real life meets art YouTube video here...

Aros wrote:So I took the time to load up on a bunch of new shows (eclectic mix of series, movies, documentaries, et al) to add to my list...About 12-14 or so. Started watching a couple that are okay but the one that I am loving so far is The Bill Murray Stories' - A Perfect Movie For The New Year
If you like Bill Murray, you will love him after watching this documentary. He's the epitome of what I would want to be like if I were famous. Worth watching.
I will report back on the others I added when I get the chance to watch them.

Speaking of Revivals, Netflix is the one place I think they could do a bang up job of Twilight Zone, the way Rod Serling would have liked it to be.

Yeah watched it also, now the question is where does it end up next? Disney stream although like Dare Devil it is very Dark, but Disney owns it now.
Really enjoyed the multi level challenges that were being juggled.
Sgt. Largent wrote:The Fyre doc is bananas................definitely watch it if you wanna get pissed off at a d-bag pathological lying scammer who duped thousands of rich kids into spending ridiculous amounts of money to go to a music festival that he couldn't pull off.
Seriously, it's nuts to even think this kind of scam could happen in modern times.

Yeah it was a great documentary, pretty amazing how stupid people can be. Hulu made a doc on the same topic and released it a few days before Netflix. Apparently the Hulu doc focuses more on the guy who threw the festival. I honestly don't feel bad for most of the people who went to the festival, but it's awful what happened to a lot of the workers who are from the island. This documentary showed how influential social media can be.

Freaky was being in Bellingham looking for a dates car the same night he abducted and killed the two women up there, we were driving and walking around the town that night.
