Two flavors ........
Mon Feb 08, 2016 3:19 pm
  • Post two flavors that you think are the bomb when combined.

Especially the ones you know that others will find strange.

One of my favs, although not strange is black pepper and smoked bacon. I love bacon and the heavier peppered the better.

A strange one of mine is, sharp cheddar cheese and "real" maple syrup.
Small cubes with syrup drizzled over the top.
Don't knock it till you try it :{)

  • Not sure how strange it is, but I really like corn chips dipped in cottage cheese. Anything salty with cottage cheese is good, really.

Also, I'm really happy to hear that I'm not the only one who still refers to things as "the bomb".

  • Tayto Cheese and Onion crisps (potato chips to you yanks) dipped in honeycomb icecream. Delish!

Also, I love to melt sharp cheddar cheese on top of a slice of apple pie. Not that weird, I'll grant you, but not totally common either.

My grandmother and mother used to eat this too, but with mustard as well. Most people aren't too delighted by the thought of this combo, but it's actually surprisingly good. Especially if you toast it up like a grilled cheese.
