They didn't say specifically why, they just speculated that he couldn't continue in the heat for some reason.

Each nation sends either one referee or crew. The ref cannot ref their country of origin

Yes, but do they have to be able to speak more than one language?

  • Netherlands are dominating possession but Mexico has more shots.

And the Dutch should've had a penalty there.

Yeah the ref is really letting a lot go. Even for me. I like to let the guys play and hate the flopping but even for me he's let more go than I would.

    Great goal...

And I disagree on the penalty shout. There was contact but a lack of control by all three converging players. I feel like that was a good one to let go. If robben had a clear and controlled touch then sure.

I'm not for 2 reasons. 1) Their fans are the most disrespectful one out there. 2) A friend of mine is a fan and refuses to admit that Mexico is no longer the best team in CONCACAF. He even plays down any massive achievement the US does by making it seem like it's nothing and insulting the US in doing so.

  • most inefficient german performance I've seen in a while.

Had like 15 free headers and couldn't net one...

and if you're gonna score in the 91st minute...lets do it before you start 30 minutes of extra game play. Gonna have tired legs vs France.

France no joke this time around. Should be a solid game? Another 3-3 thriller?

  • I'm French not german... And yeah german may have tired legs even though I'm not sure about this. In fact, I fear that Schrrule and Khedira would be starter against us.

France never lost a quarter finals since 1938. At the same time, France never won against Germany in the World Cup.
