  • I cant STAND the Zags. Just cant. Like the Dawgs and Cougs, will root Pac-12 come tourney time (NOT BOWL TIME). But, for whatever reason loathe the Zags.

Michigan's GOOD. I'm not just saying that because they're beating SDSU, and I picked them. They're just better than I realized.

  • That Maruette game was amazing. I missed the last couple of minutes to take the kids to swimming lessons. I heard the outcome and when I watched the replay, I still couldn't believe they pulled it out.

    That was an AMAZING finish.

If the NCAA knew what they we're doing Davidson would've been seeded higher. Kind of a shame those two GOOD teams duked it out early.

  • Anyone else extremely impressed with La Salle? Man they have incredible guards that can shoot and just blow by their defenders. Reminds me of VCU last year. If my Zags have to play these guys I'm going to be a nervous wreck.

    Agreed.

This whole tourney is wide-open. If ever a time for a mid-major to win it, its this year.

  • I have a general question about the end of games. You know when one team is down by a few buckets in the last couple minutes, they continue to foul the other team when they get the ball? And then when the team losing gets ball they shoot 3s to try to reduce the lead? Why doesnt the team thats ahead also foul the other team so they cant shoot 3s? In theory the game would just go back and forth with foul shots with the team down a large majority unable to really come back in such a short amount of time.

Because a 3 point shot is low percentage, and by fouling, you also stop the clock for the opposing team. You're trying to drive down the seconds, not allow the other team to score without losing those precious seconds.

Nah. Went to Western Oregon University for a few years then transferred and graduated from Warner Pacific College which is a tiny little Christian college in Portland. Life long Ducks fan though.

The worst part is that after this game, if the Ducks hang on, you'll be in 1st place in our bracket challenge. I'll be in 2nd. Your faith in the Ducks will be the difference.
