Can someone please move this thread to the smack shack?

Your behavior resembles someone who is between getting their learners permit and being able to legally drink alcohol.
Now I think you are just trolling, which makes me want to second the motion to move this to the smack shack.
However, there is a lot of good information and discussion on here that might get buried once this thread got smackified.

The look of jubilation on Hansen's face really sells it.
Yea it do, don't it!
Soon, my friends, soon! We will have the last laugh. Maker my words!

A spokesman for the Maloofs, Eric Rose, said the family would have no comment on the deal. But a source close to the Hansen bid said Hansen and the Maloofs have discussed the increased offer, and that the Maloofs have accepted it.

Congrats to Chris Hansen, who today invented the $75 million mic drop.
In a statement issued on his Sonics Arena website, Hansen described the move to raise his bid as “an effort to further demonstrate the extent of our commitment to bring basketball back to Seattle.”

Let's see how it plays out first. He might have to run the team in Sac for a while, dude. That banner might not make him look all that great as the new owner of the Sacramento Kings.

Yeah... they also told Clay Bennett and Michael Heisley that they couldn't move the Sonics and the Grizzlies from Seattle and Vancouver as well. How did those movies end again...?

Honestly, if he has to "operate" the team in Sacramento for at least 1 season you're telling me that we should be flying a Chris Hansen banner up here, while they still reside (and no relo has been approved) in Sac?
I never said he wouldn't EVER get to relocate the team. I think it's retarded to fly a banner while they're down there and no relo has been approved. it's just stupid.
If he fails, fly the banner. If relo is approved, fly the banner. If he operates it for a year and then relo is approved, fly the freaking banner...

Just my opinion.

Look, if he ends up owning the team, it's over. I would hang the flag just because he (and Ballmer and everyone else) is incredibly AWESOME, but owning the team = Sonics are back. He'll just up and relocate them.

I wish it was that easy to move a team if you own it. It still has to go to a vote.

Tell that to Al Davis. He upped and moved the team without a vote, then beat the NFL in court.
