Watching Pep celebrate with Aguero while VAR overruled their goal was fun...

City outshooting Spurs 30-3 was not, though. Is it possible they're just better than last 2 seasons?

Nope. Aguero's a cert for an injury or two, and they need Rodri to be as good as Fernandinho or they're sunk.

If more teams run at them, they'll fold. Gonna be a hell of a title race.

What's your take on the sack race? Lamps has to be near the top for me. Javi Gracia same. Steve Bruce is probably expected to go down, so they'll not sack him I wouldn't think. Pellegrini is a decent shout if WHU don't pick up the pace. They spent big the last couple of seasons. Should be challenging for a Europa place.

  • Pellegrini and Dean Smith.. not clubs spent sheds of money on players (West Ham over last two years) and need results for the investment.

I think lampard is safe through the transfer ban, unless it gets really bad

  • Tidy player, no doubt. He’ll end up at one of the big boys next summer.

Which is nothing. I'm wondering though if Pep has a threshhold where he'll give up on the league and focus on the CL only. 15 points maybe?

Norwich are a lovely wee side to watch. Said it after they gave us a scare, they're going to cause a lot of big teams problems this year. City's defense is embarrassingly bad after all the money spent on it, and only one injury of note. (Mendy doesn't count - the lad's a permacrock and is a defensive liability anyway).

Roberto Firmino is the most underrated footballer currently living. He's absolutely orgasmic to watch.

  • Roberto Firmino is my favorite footballer to watch. It's not just his vision and skill. His work ethic off the ball and willingness to drive into spaces is maybe the best in the world.

You're right about Norwhich. They give it a go regardless of opponent. Great to see
