Which of these teams will Harbaugh be coaching next year?

Oakland
Jacksonville
Cleveland
NY Jets
NY Giants
Miami
Buffalo
St. Louis

I would rule out Oakland however Jaguars or Giants would be interesting.

I suspect it'll be Miami or a year off.

The Dolphins clearly want him big time and he might see that as a team he can turn around in a short period (his speciality). I can't see him going back to college, not having come so close to a Super Bowl victory and seeing his arch nemesis get a ring last season.

Plus Miami is potentially in a position to give him extra power, what he really craves.

They don't wear khakis in Oakland.

I think Dickies is the standard wardrobe for OG's (Original Gangstas). At least it was growing up in SoCal in the 80's

Yeah, more control over personnel would probably lure him. I'm thinking he would also be looking for a team with a good ground attack and decent QB. I don't know if he'd be willing to rebuild over a period of 2-3 years.

I think Baalke views Harbaugh as an existential threat who wants more control over personnel as a condition of his extension, and the York family is arrogant enough to take draft picks in exchange for Harbaugh. They don't want to pay a coach top dollar and they probably believe they are talented enough to win a Super Bowl without him.

Several league sources said that Ross is covertly working to be positioned to potentially trade for 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh – like Ross a prominent Michigan alumnus – at the season's end, with Philbin and first-year general manager Dennis Hickey in essence lame ducks.

If we're betting the smart money is on S.F. over any of these other options, but for fun I think Miami makes sense because they already opened the vault for him in 2011, they're probably dumb enough to trade picks for him, and if both coach and GM go they could bring him in with Lombardi.

Cleveland already has more in place though.

Worth saying that the story also floats Quinn's name closer to the top.

Keep your grubby, filthy mitts off our defensive coordinator.
Yes you can't have Quinn, but you are more than welcome to Bevell!* 8)

Unless he retires, Coughlin ain't goin' anywhere IMO. That team was an absolute joke in week 1 vs. Detroit and I thought there was a real good chance they'd go 2-14 after that debacle. Yet here they are 2-2 and very close to 3-1 as they almost beat AZ in week 2. And they just drilled the Racist Nicknames in D.C. The guy can coach, pure and simple.

What English said as to why Capt. Douchebag will end up in Phin Land makes a lot of sense to me.

Oh, my bad. "Story" = the CBS sports link above floating Quinn's name for the Dolphins, not 9ers. Can't see the 9ers going after Quinn, TBH.

After inheriting Montana era OC Mike Holmgren, and George Seifert era DC Pete Carroll, I think Hawk fans should be willing to give away any of their coaches to SF (not that I think Bevell or Quinn are world beater coaches, just saying).

You guys have Ken Norton Jr as LB coach for Pete's sakes...

Sounds like a post looking for some sort of sympathy, well in the dictionary we know where that word falls between.......
