Have him do it after a workout. He has to shower and wash his clothes--he can just douse himself in a bucket of ice water and get both done in one feel swoop, and he'll actually save water!

If he did a kind thing for charity/fun, it would ruin his DBag persona. And then what would the rest of the team think? They've worked hard to live up to the DBag standard that he's set (and that bar is HIGH). I mean, Aldon Smith has REALLY put the work in...you don't want to have all of that effort go to waste!
