Stevie Johnson is a legit talent. He makes the Niners offense better, by making it more difficult to to key in on what single target Kaep is single reading. Yes that sounds like a negative, and it is in some forms. But in the end you still need to cover Crabtree, Boldin, Johnson, Davis, (possibly Latimore/Gore and QP). The Seahawks match up fairly well still vs that receiving core. The rest of the league save a few teams will not. In the end we still need a better record.
I feel the Niners will be better on offense as a whole, the defense depth based on actual field time vs speculation is where they take a step back along with a large drop off in DB play overall. We are in a similar position with a few rosters spots, the main difference is that we have NFL game tape on many of our back ups we hope fill in roles of most critical departed starters. Along with a once in a generation backfield.

The 49ers' season-ticket community may be shrinking for reasons other than losing seasons and unpopular management.
"A lot of hardcore fans who have been with them for years are dying," said Laureen Burke, 52, of Petaluma.

Your Jacked Up masses yearning to Scream free,
The Winning refuse of your Sea Town shore.
Send these, the Passionate, Loyal, to me:
