I'm afraid their defense is going to have to score to have any shot here.

Thank you to SF's coaching for calling that ridiculous PA pass on 3rd and 1 to kill a drive.

Such a bogus penalty against SF to help give Atlanta the lead. I'll take it though.

Who else wants to rip their eyeballs out listening to Kap's voice & cadence at the LOS? It doesn't sound like talking it sounds like growling.

Nice job defense. If the Falcons can somehow lead at halftime, that would be amazing.

Birds D presenting some interesting looks. So far stopping the "surging 49rs who can still win the division." Man I hope Steven Jackson has a big game.

Great half for the Falcons. Atlanta holding a TD lead going into the locker room is truly amazing.

Hey you Nay-sayers... not sayin' the Falcons are gonna win, but this game ain't going the way some of you "proclaimed" it would huh? "any given Sunday, er, Monday"... Niners look slow, and Birds are playing their Super Bowl. I'm enjoying the hell outta this so far...

I'll be happy to be wrong on this one, BT. I can hardly believe this is even a game at halftime, let alone a Falcons lead.

He and Luck have some very distinct and loud cadences. They sound very familiar. Rodgers and Flynn's cadences sound the same, very distinct.

Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid time to line up offsides.

3 and out would have killed the 49ers mentally.

Mike Smith is such a loser. Failing to go for it on 4th and 1 from midfield just now is beyond inexcusable. Dude shouldn't ever get to have sex with his wife again.

If the Niners score on this drive the game's over. Atlanta will roll over.

Can't trust the Falcons in a game like this.

Ryan has become anti-clutch and they're just not physical enough in key areas.

This. The Falcons just aren't good enough. That defense is already wilting.
