Flynn's keeping the Packers slim playoff hopes alive. How long is Rodgers out for? Wouldn't it be something if the Packers came to Seattle in the playoffs and Matt Flynn was the QB?

The Green Bay Packers lead a charmed existence. Lose their starting QB, but so do the Bears and the Lions are the Lions and will continue to throw up on themselves for eternity or until they fire Jim Schwartz.

Flynn ties the game against the Vikes just as Stafford throws a pick and the Bears are still down six on the road. For a whiny fanbase full of tools, they sure have little to complain about.

With the new overtime rules, why do coaches still insist on taking the kickoff? Odds show that they'll end up punting and giving the other team good field position. Sure you have that opportunity to score a TD and just end it, but it's not like that's likely to happen. They did a study on FO about this and showed that since the new rules, the team that took the kick was more likely to lose.

EDIT: LOL so having said that, GB drives all the way downfield.

Jeff Saturday called Aaron Rodgers a product of the GB system. Watching Flynn perform in it leads me to think......

If the Packers could pull off this, and Rodgers comes back next week as planned, they would be in good shape for a wildcard spot. Bye Bye, Niners!

Saturday says Rodgers is a product of the GB system, ummm what about Manning, he basically brought his offense from Indy and installed it in Denver, not knocking the system cause it works, but isn't that the same thing.

Every QB is a product of the system they are in. Any coach with a brain tailors their offense around what their QB can do. Cassell also excelled in the New England offense in relief of Brady. Kansas City installed a west coast offense when they got Montana. Being a product of a system doesn't make a player any less great. People just say that when they try to say that the system is the only reason a player was successful, and that is just bs.
