  • Why is Seneca the worst? Despite being undersized and of limited QB talent through hard work and other talents he has had a 10 year career in the NFL. Yeah, nearly all as a back up. So? I wouldnt have guessed hed still be playing at this point when he was a Seahawk.

  • He was underrated here as a backup. Never took sacks, never fumbled, went roughly 200 attempts without an INT, while not having any WR's or running game to assist.

Seneca was a good game manager.

  • The famous senica move was to panic and run 5 yards loss out of bounds. He was never successfull. He was never more than a backup.

  • Never more than a back up.. And never expected to be more than a back up. And since when does carving out a 10 year career as a back up make you "the worst"?
Some people are hard to please..

  • Well, he is better at football then all of us combined. So maybe he isn't the worst. He was a good back up for us, so there is that.

He did that once...and that's it.

He did in 2008 (IIRC that was the year) have 6 dropped TD passes. Most over 30 yards. That's also the year he went nearly 200 attempts without an INT. You're clearly mistaken.

Seneca even played reasonably well in Cleveland. He was a game manager, so much so Delhomme coined him "checkdown Charlie".

    I hate the revisionist history.

  • It didn't help matters either when Jim Mora basically ordered Wallace not to run in 2009 when Hasselbeck was hurt. His rationale was that he didn't want to risk Wallace getting hurt, which was understandable, but you have a quarterback whose best asset at the time was his running ability and you don't let him run?

  • 1. Wallace was much better than folks here remember.

    2. Mora completely ruined him, giving us the guy who ran out of bounds for a five yard loss.

    3. People remember recent history (#2) better, and thus he was much better than folks here remember (#1).
World Champion Seattle Seahawks football. It's an addiction, and there is no cure.
