During an interview with FOXSports.com’s Alex Marvez and Jim Miller on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Jags general manager Dave Caldwell said he wanted to add a quarterback, possibly plural, in the next few months.

Caldwell offered praise for the incumbents, but said he’s actively looking to add “at least one other quarterback into the fold, possibly two.”

As to how he’d address the vacancies, Caldwell mentioned “through the draft, college free agency, pro free agency or however we may get him.”

Come on, Gus. Talk your GM into giving up a mid-rounder for Flynn.

Please.

Off the record Caldwell was heard to say "Gabbert has nice hair, but as a QB? He makes decisions about as effectively as a steaming pile of dung. Henne isn't bad but I'd prefer him as a backup to an actual starting caliber QB."

You KNOW they've talked about it. No way that Schneider hasn't called Gus up and made a pitch.

We'll see what happens.

I'd take a 4th, I'd love a 3rd, and I'd be happily bewildered by a 2nd.

What would you do for a 1st? :D

I'd give myself a hand job. hell, I'd do that for their 2nd round pick next year. Hell, I'm just gonna do it and hope something good happens.

This draft has a crap QB class. I smell some good trade value for Flynn shortly after the draft is over. There will be at least one or two teams that don't get who they wanted in the draft.

I think they should draft Smith. That's judt me though. Or they go the Hawk philosophy and build a team first. Unfortunately for Gus he doesn't have the cache or staff or salary that Pete does to make an owner patient and pray you strike gold with a Wilson.

Keep flynn.

We are going to need him during Wilson's sophomore slump.

Sacrilege! Heresy! :sarcasm_on: Kearly is no longer praying for you.
