Do we have 5.5 mil to pay him so he can at least break even for fines?

No thanks. Not even if the 49ers picked up his salary. Why would you even ask this?
Who said we would have to pay him 5.5 mil?

He was scheduled to make $6.57 million in 2013. The question is how much less did the steelers offer? He would be good for depth on just about any team (70 tackles 6 sacks 2 FF last year) . I don't want him because he will not come cheap. I think he should have stayed.

It was a difference in how his salary was to be paid. The Steelers wanted most of his salary to be incentives, while Harrison wanted more upfront money.

Over rated and over roided, and getting old. No thanks, he'll be as effective as Joey "the feline" Porter was in AZ.

Ball park figure based on what I estimate his total fines will amount to next year.

People around here are extraordinarily biased against Steelers, and former steelers, for some reason. hmm I wonder why???

He's a very good football player though. Seems like a total asshole though.

Doubt anything will come of this.

Steelers linebackers, even the good ones like Harrison, are products of the system they run. Chad Brown is the only Steelers linebacker to enjoy a dominant career outside Pittsburgh, that I can think of off the top of my head. Can anyone else come up with a guy?

He was released!! Anybody want to take a shot on him?

You mean like with a gun?

I'm glad someone else mentioned this.

Seriously, I do not want that scumbag anywhere near our team.
