Man, this guy has really fallen off the map.

Remember right before we hired him as OC, the Bears offered him their OC job as well. He was a hotshot young coach in demand. Pete fires him after one year and he sits out. Then he goes to Chicago as QBs coach.

He's been fired again. I remember there being some rumors at the time of his firing from the Hawks that he was difficult to work with.

Will be interesting to watch the OC/DC shuffle, the fall out is a lot of QB's are going to get cut, traded or benched because of the difference in offense that they will have to adapt to.

It's just a run of the mill house cleaning by a new coach. Seven other Bears assistant coaches were also let go at the same time. Trestman is making a mistake letting go of Bates, unless he plans on getting rid of Cutler/Marshall as well.

This is good news for us. Well sort of. It would be nice if Chicago didn't turn into a speed bump for Green Bay.
