I would love to have gotten him. Guy has a motor that is at 110% at all times. Not many players in the league can just take over the reigns from Mario Williams and play better than he did, especially in a different defensive alignment.

Watt didn't exactly face all world offensive lines this season. At any rate, 20.5 sacks for anyone is impressive, especially a 3-4 defensive end.

Reminds me of a guy that was once a Seahawk. Patrick Kerney. Fast, strong, 100% motor, and when he gets going look out. Gastineau was that kind of player too. He was a sack machine and would just get on a roll and dominate. Mario Williams was a great player, but I think people underestimate the defensive wizard that is Wade Phillips. They knew they were letting Mario go unless he wanted to make average money. Smart move all around.

Watt is beast. The number of knocked down passes almost impresses me more than the sacks.
