  • Damn, that is good news. Best all off-season. I'm sure they will both find work elsewhere, but hopefully not with a mic during games. Booger was insufferable.

  • I hope they do move it back to ABC, not that it is a different ownership, but ever since the move MNF has been going down in a spiral waiting to hit bottom, Booger on your finger is close to bottom.

I would like to see them go back to the three person format, Couple guys that have intimate knowledge of the game on as a Color Analyst and another as an Play by Play , then a more layman type commentator much like Cosell was. Good opportunity for a Woman to fill that as a interested party if eloquent and versed in the game as a involved fan.

Romo maybe, not Peyton, don't need two QB egos in the booth, I would also look at Hass as a Color guy so he isn't the most serious, play by play is what you need as a straight guy more or less.

He was a disaster as well.

If I want to see a comedian I will change the channel.

Honestly if they're gonna go comedian they should go full Tracy Morgan. At least it would be funny in a ludicrous way. Miller is "edgy" comedy for people who think they're edgy and intellectual but it's actually super lame.

While I can't stand that guy politically, he is responsible for the biggest laugh I've ever had watching Monday Night Football.

It was a Cowboy game with a woman in the stands who had painted her bare, pregnant belly with a cowboy star. He said something to the effect of "the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders appear to have lowered their standards".

  • Now that he will be off his soon to be divorced wife’s reality show, make one of the guys Jay Cutler in a 3 man booth. His “I don’t give a bleep” attitude and saying whatever he thinks would be hilarious

  • Dennis Miller was refreshing and hilarious. The guys he was paired with were bad chemistry for him. His brand of witty banter is awesome.

He ranks up there with hemorrhoids as far as hilarity goes.

  • Ryan Reynolds, Dennis Miller and Bruce Cambell. I dont need some redneck giving boring commentary. We are all sports fans and know the history of sports. I suppose you guys thought Madden was a great commentator? Thank G he retired. "Boom"...

I also recall a game where a the field goal kicker missed a gimme but later in the game got bailed out by a touchdown. The kicker was on the sidelines trying to high-five and congratulate teammates but none would interact with him. Dennis Miller goes "This guy looks like Robert Mugabe at a UN cocktail hour". I laughed so hard.....

  • Dennis Miller was 90% horrible with the occasional hilarity mixed in. No desire to see him back. I've always liked Al Michaels.
