  • Gotta love how narcissistic Farve is.

I'd honestly rather have Farve than Bevell, at least we'd know things will be interesting.

Maybe they need Cable for the O-Line Coach too.

  • My first thought was,
Please be Bevell, please be Bevell, please be Bevell

    But, on further reflection,
He's probably a little more run-pass balanced than Rodgers would like, but their overall passing game philosophy is pretty similar. Forgo the short to intermediate range stuff for the splash play. He would get along with Rodgers better than McCarthy. He would put receivers where Rodgers wants them.

He's already shown an ability to yield some of the game planning (in his coordination with running game coordinator Cable), which speaks for the likelihood that he would work well with Rodgers wanting to have a lot of say in the plan. I've never been convinced that Bevell was the problem. He had issues, but every coordinator's issues are going to be magnified by Cable's line. If anyone is going to be able to make chicken salad out of Bevell's route tree, it's probably Rodgers.

Bevell actually might be a good fit, and a redemption story.

Please, Green Bay, go with Farve. That would be pretty epically bad.

I hear Tom Cable may be looking for a head coaching gig

  • One can hope the full package of Farve, Bevell and Cable.

Farve and Rodgers didn't get along much as competitors, be fun to see him as his Coach now. Cable as Head Coach and Bevell as OC, that would be delicious to watch also.

    Ummm, let's see:

Favre (HC) - Bev (OC) - Cable (OL)

Cable (HC) - Bev (OC) - Favre (QB)

Bev (HC) - Favre (OC) - Cable (OL)

    Best for last:

Bev (HC/OC) - Cable (OL) - Fabre (QB)
I will pay to see this happen lol

Oh yeah! That would be brilliant. If Tomlin is on the out at Pittsburgh I could see him in Green Bay. Dan Quinn wouldn't surprise me either.

    and Schotty well.....

Edit: I think Bevell stinks, I am not defending him, but I don't think Schotty is very good either. He's middling. Solari is the difference.
