Its Scam...nothing new. The guy is a baby.

Cam is a clown.

I've never liked the way he conducts himself.

This 1000 times. Once he acted like that during SB 50 every football player on the planet knew that they could not win with him and he could never be trusted.

Denver exposed Newton the way Seattle exposed Kaepernick.

Ron Rivera has been the beneficiary of good player acquisition by his FO. I realize he's part of that and involved in it but his coaching is the liability that's kept this team down. If they had a real coach they probably would have had a more seahawk-like run with a couple SB appearances and at least one win by now with that Roster. Every time I see them play I'm baffled at how they manage to underachieve.

I think it’s a symptom of the QB being a toxic leader.

Wow, against us he completed what? 15 Straight? He was All-World. Now he throws 4 INTs vs a mediocre team? And the Panthers fire assistant coaches?

Makes no sense.

According to a team release, the Panthers relieved defensive line coach Brady Hoke and assistant secondary/cornerbacks coach Jeff Imamura of their duties.

One of the interceptions was tipped, two were thrown while he was being hit, and one was just a bad decision. There was a play where Cam extended the ball for a first down and in turn reinjured his throwing shoulder that has given him issues since 2016. His balls the rest of the game didn't have his usual zip on them, and the offensive line was horrible all game. All that led to him having his worst game of the season. Not sure if any of the "sCam" clowns here care about facts, but that's what happened.

As for the firing assistant coaches, it's just Rivera throwing some scapegoats under the bus. Nearly everyone in Carolina feels Rivera time has run out here. He has the keys to a Ferrari and he drives it like a Lincoln. His mindset is 1980's, grind it out football, and with the rule changes the league has passed him by long ago. We all want new blood this offseason.

Yet here are the seahawks playing like its the 80's and winning. I don't think it has anything much to do about the football philosophy.

Well yeah, of course it's not just "philosophy". Rivera is also horrible at multiple aspects of his job, including talent evaluation, clock management, loyalty to coaching staff/aging veterans and in-game adjustments.

And just a few weeks ago everyone on this board was ready to send Pete out to pasture lol.

I defend Pete longer than most. He was too loyal to Tom Cable and his clock management is shit. However, his talent evaluation is on point, especially when he's looking for people to fit his schemes. He's not so good at fitting square pegs into round holes (see: Jimmy Graham). Every coach has flaws. The bigger deal is if they can overcome them.

For the fire Pete Carroll, Russ isn't elite crowd, we need to look at the Panthers.
