If he can be had for $2 mil, I say we grab him.

That would be a complete waste of $2mil. Foles is horrible under pressure and that 27-2 stretch was a fluke of poor defenses, an amazing o-line and Kelly scheming people wide open.

Foles doesn't fit what PCJS want to do at QB right now. I think he'd be a good fit in SF.

Weird that Kansas City did that given the fact that backup quarterback isn't an area of concern in comparison to a couple other position groups in my view.

Starting QB might be an issue though, no? I mean how much longer are they riding 3 yards a cloud of dust to the playoffs? Sooner or later they need to take a chance

Everyone seems to love Alex Smith and Reid sure does. They also brought in a huge number of wide receivers. I bet that Reid is hoping to pass far more, similar to his Philadelphia teams. He's never been a guy that runs to set up the pass like Carroll.

In otherwords I don't get why this move was made. Smith may not be Wilson but he's above average and leagues better than Foles.

Can he throw better than Foles? I've always thought of Alex Smith similar to Trent Dilfer. good game manager, limited physically. the offense is simplified for his skillset (and limitations). Foles can throw a football around. But i suppose then it's do they want QB competition. Doesn't sound like you think they would.

Who is the back up?

It comes as no surprise that Chiefs coach Andy Reid was open to a reunion with a quarterback he selected in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. In fact, Garafolo reported in February of 2013 that Reid was interested in bringing Foles along to Kansas City if Philadelphia were open to a trade.

Reid viewed Foles as a future starter at the time and has long been a believer in his talent.

Tyler Bray and Aaron Murphy I had forgotten Chase Daniels left. In light of that this makes far more sense. But I get the sense they are good with Alex as the starter regardless.

Same Eagles fans who were arguing that our last game in Phiily was competitive a few years back. and but for a unfortunate calls, they should have won.

I'll never forget those guys. We eviscerated them..and I now pay no attention to Eagles fans.
