Their excuse was locked up when nelson got hurt.

I'm glad it's nothing more serious than that and on the surface it seems like it would help the Seahawks, but we have this ugly habit of making backups look like superstars (Benny Cunningham unfortunately comes to mind here.) Hopefully Bennett and Clark can take advantage of the situation rather than make Don Barclay look like Walter Jones.

Too bad. Solid RT and overall football player. Hopefully it's nothing too long term.

Hate to see quality teams derailed by injuries - hope that isn't the case.

Well, they took advantage of it during last year's opener when Bulaga left that game with an injury. Avril abused the backup RT, and expect more of the same this week.

Whether that slows down the GB offense enough to win is another story...
