Won't mind not seeing him in the Week 1 lineup, that's for sure.

Rams will win without him. :0190l:

Rushing Gurley back is the epitome of winning the battle and losing the war.

Totally expected it.

This does not mean he misses Week One.

You're right I misread the article.

This is for camp, not the season

Probably Week 6 at the earliest. And very limited time at that.

maybe the next Lattimore....

Nowhere even close to that.

Lattimore fell to the very end of the 4th because there was a 50/50 shot of him ever being able to play again.

There's not a single person who reasonably believes that Gurley's career is in jeopardy.

Really? I was kind of excited to see him. He's one of the more interesting and impressive RB prospects to come along in a while and if he is healthy enough to play would make for an interesting battle with the Hawks D.

But, ultimately, decisions should be made in the best interest of his long-term well-being. If that means missing week 1 vs the Hawks, that's too bad but may be wise.

Wouldn't surprise me. In fact I predicted in in my season prediction thread. Won't bother me a bit either cuz in the long run the Hawks will finish first in the division and the Lambs will finish 3rd.

No need to rush his return. Tre Mason and Benny Cunningham were a nice duo last year behind a pedestrian at best OL.

I'm curious to see how the big rookies Jamon Brown an Rob Havenstein perform. This will play a huge factor in how STL's offense performs this year. They're road graders so hopefully Foles doesn't see many third and longs.

Gonna be a great game.

He can sit out the entire 2015 as far as I am concerned - the only thing that matters is his health and readiness. No matter what as it affects 2015.

2016 matters.

Does Fisher push him in an attempt to save his job though? That would be my concern.

Well, looks like he is good to go for camp. I don't think Fisher's job is on the line this year, and I think he will keep him out as long as needed.

Todd Gurley to open Rams camp on active roster

Rams rookie running back Todd Gurley is wasting no time in exceeding expectations at the NFL level.

The draft's 10th overall pick will open training camp on the active roster and participate in practices, according to the team's official website.
