He's still out there, but no word of interest by the Hawks.

Is Wilfork a good fit here?

I thought he was more of a 3-4 defense nose tackle. I think Pete and John like a little more quickness and versatility out of their tackles. Good player, but not sure Wilfork's a good fit for our D.

Bane can sniff out and chase down a screen, Wilfork would need a cardiologist if he tried to do what we get out of Mebane.

What is up with the Colts and the U players?I'm starting to want them off as my 2nd fav team. They talk about doing it one way(grow from draft up)to grabbing old FA's for high$$ They haven't really put much into their D just like with the PM days it hasn't changed.

They have the golden child. Going to sell a lot of tickets with more offensive weapons.

Let them spend all their money on offense or over-the-hill defensive players... They will be able to score. Then when they play a defense like ours, their offense won't be able to do what it normally does to its division rivals, and their defense won't be able to keep our offense out of it. Broncos 2012 version 2. I'd beat them in a Super Bowl. I look forward to it.

I am not sure how much is left in the tank for Vince. Someone described him as being on fumes at the end of last year. The Pats are not dummies, they waived him last year and got him back at a lower deal and this year decided not to pick up his option. They should know better than anyone else how much he has left in the tank.

I think you would be better of with Pot Roast if he hadn't signed with Washington. If the Seahawks do cut Mebane and cannot get Kevin Williams to re-sign and play the 1-Tech, I hope the team can find someone in the draft that can help with whatever young talent is on the roster already.

My vote would be to pass on Vince. We will see soon what the FO thinks.

Oddly enough, Vegas has Indy at 5-1 odds to win the SB (SEA being 11-2).

That's because everyone's now betting on Indy because they're lemmings, doesn't mean they're the smart bet to win the SB.

In fact, I betcha no hardened gambler, bookie or Vegas casino line setter would tell you Indy's a smart bet at 5-1.

That's how Vegas gambling works, the more money that comes in on a team, the worse the odds get.

I don't think it's that they are going for U players, I believe that Irsay is opening up a glue factory nearby.
