Anyway...IMO, a great hire. If he's got his life together, that might be one of the smartest decisions Dan Snyder has ever made.

I don't see any links out there as of yet, but he reportedly turned down the Raiders, so that would bode well for this being so, as I believe the Redskins were the only other team known to have an active interest.

It would be a great hire, but it's hard to trust Snyder to stay out of his own way and let the man do his job. Will be interesting to see how it plays out, but I just can't see Snyder not screwing it up

Interesting I hope he does well. At least well enough to beat Dallas for the next 10-20 years continuously. But that all depends on IF Snyder will stay out of the way which is very doubtful.

Congrats to Scott but I am concerned that he and John Schneider had to part ways because John didn't want to appear to be dealing with double standards. How bad did things get last year for Scott and John to have to mutually move on, right around draft time?

I think he can build up the talent base for the Skins and I hope his demons are at bay. Best of luck, no matter what, at the end of the day these are just men trying to make their mark, make a living and maybe support loved ones.

Oracle, Citrix, and several other apps don't play nice sometimes with Firefox or Chrome.

This will be great, for the first 8 months. Then Scot will go on a binge, run around FedEx Field stark naked, call Dan Snyder short, and be sent to the loony bin (right next to the trash bin).

I hope he does well, guy has a issue but damn is he good at what he does.

One of the reasons for the delayed consummation is that multiple other teams continue to pursue him. According to a source with knowledge of the situation, the Raiders and Jets continue to have interest in McCloughan.
