Oh, look, ex-teammates are criticizing Aaron Rodgers again.

Critics are going to be critics. But Aaron Rodgers should be given maximum leeway to call his own plays when he sees fit.
And so should Russ. It's what makes winning teams win.

The difference is, when Russ screws up, he owns it. When Erin screws up, it's someone else's fault.

Men gossiping about other men. Ugh.

Ted Thompson certainly put some sensitive blabbermouths around his franchise QB.

I believe Jermichael Finley and Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila may have been Thompson acquisitions, but I could be wrong.

Here we are 15 years later, and Mike Nolan looks like he was more and more justified drafting Alex Smith over Aaron Rodgers based on not being coachable.

Draft is a crap shoot.......no guarantees with any QBs..........if Rodgers had unbelievable college tape over Smith, he would have probably gone top 10 instead of 20something.

By all accounts I've seen, Erin Rodgers didn't turn into an un-coachable douchebag until after Favre left; so Nolan was still wrong.

Aaron Rodgers is an arrogant douchebag, but how many rings does Alex Smith have?

Let the kvetching continue as the Packers deal with their prima donna QB.

Let their problems be nothing trivial. Boo Hoo!

One fewer than Aaron Rodgers and Trent Dilfer.

The $134M QB is also the cancer in the locker room. That’s a problem that isn’t going away soon.

One couldn’t help but admire Brady after reading the article.

That article was also a huge indictment towards McCarthy's coaching. He essentially just quit on the team, and seemed to call plays just out of spite towards Rodgers at times. It also talked about Thompson falling asleep during meetings, and McCarthy not even being at meetings. Dysfunction on every single level, especially at the top. I don't think Rodgers handled things right, but McCarthy only elevated things. It sounds as if Rodgers did have a grudge, but it seemed like a lot of his anger was also directed at McCarthy's apathy as well, and the fact he was just coasting. What players are mentioning aren't unique to Rodgers either.

Peyton Manning for example has been known to blow up on the sidelines, and he took full control of the playbook in Denver, and Indianapolis. Brady also has been caught swearing at his teammates and telling them to do their jobs. It is also worth mentioning that it's really only two people that had grievances towards Rodgers, and it's only those two people that keep popping up. Jermicheal Finely, and Greg Jennings. They have told these stories in the past, and they keep rearing their heads whenever the Packers aren't doing well and calling out Rodgers. This is nothing new. In fact it is really only Jennings, and Finely talking. Other former Packers are stepping up to defend Rodgers.

If they had told the story once, I'd be inclined to believe them. Instead, Finely and Jennings have gone out of their way to smear Rodgers whenever something the Packers aren't doing so hot. They have rehashed these stories several times now, and at what point do you just say that they are looking for attention? It's sort of like Richard Sherman, Micheal Bennett and the Seahawks. The other player interviewed, Grant was more objective, and actually seemed to lay more blame on McCarthy, and Thompson, though he didn't exonerate Rodgers, nor should he be completely exonerated.
