  • The Packers lost #2 tackler on their team, Jake Ryan a week or so ago.
Carolina has lost a few too.

They had 4 guys leave the game in the 1st quarter with injuries.

    DL Solomon Thomas
    LB Malcolm Smith
    TE George Kittle
    RB Matt Breida

Sounds like they are expecting Kittle and Breida (shoulders for both) to be ready to go for the season opener. Thomas is in the concussion protocol, and I'm not sure about Smith. Garry Gilliam also left the game with an injury and is in the the concussion protocol too.

Malcolm Smith was a hamstring strain, as far as Garry Gilliam I think he got a concussion also.

McKinnon had an MRI today. It is looking like a strained muscle.

  • Well, just because he got hurt in Washington, doesn't mean he would have had the same thing happen here. Guice has a lot of talent. I'm glad we got Penny, but I was definitely hoping they would get Guice.

According to Schefter it was his Achilles. Season ender either way.

And the other first rounder, Michel, has knee issues as well.... looks like Brady's gonna have a rougher go of it than usual. Pretty meh WRs until Edelman comes back and I'm sure Gronk will miss some games ontop of a leakier OL.

  • Think I heard the the Pat’s #1 pick blew out an Achilles.
They had two first rounders, this guy was their #1 overall.

    Isiah Wynn

Season ending type of “blew out”

    I’ll look for a link.

  • I read somewhere that the 2017 season had the most players go on IR since the 1999 NFL season. Hopefully we don't see anywhere near that this year.

  • Marqise Lee suffered a gruesome looking knee injury. His lower leg bent sideways. ☹️
