Not sure how it's shade. Lynch made Cable look good. He should be happy to reunite with him. As for the 2 wins comment, I think anyone who watched that game knows we should have won 2, and in more ways than just that one play.

We had some good draft capital on the Oline, so we also should have had a better Oline since he had a ton of sway on who was picked.

I agree, but that wasn't a super necessary comment from him. Reminds me of last year when Carr said he wouldn't hesitate to hand it off on the goal line instead of passing.

Why should I be upset about this? He's right.

Ummm Bevell made the call, maybe that shade was more a brick thrown his way, Cable was in charge of the run game and O line.

Let him throw shade. He couldn't teach his players how to throw a block.

Interesting choice of words. "Throwing" blocks indeed.

I remember that. The screenshot circulated on the web for a while afterwards. What an embarrassment.

Is it possible that was some I’ll conceived fumble rooskie type trick play? I’ve seen the still shots plenty but never before the video. All 5 linemen belly up in a half second ... how is that even possible if not intentional?

It was supposed to be a quick screen play that was botched with the fumble, creating space at the line of scrimmage to suck in the front seven and then allow Baldwin to make a play in space.

But it does epitomize how ineffective our cut blocks were during that time. Just ugly.
