My thanks and pictures of the wonderful gifts you members

A collection of NET's best and most memorable threads. Predictions, debates, laughs, and X's & O's. LANGUAGE RATING: PG to NC-17
  • got for me during my time in the hospital having heart surgery. Rockhawk & Hawkstorian brought them to me and I am forever grateful to all of you. A side note, I've lost 50lbs since these pictures were taken. Working on another 50.

I know this is the main forum but wanted to put them here to give all of you a chance to see them and for me to thank you all now that you are back and ready for another SB run.

A heartfelt thanks from all of us at the Radish household to all of you at Seahawks.net.

The banner, book, shirt, and of course the Russell Wilson football football all from you folks. The cup a set of 4 from morglon1 & his family. The 70s era hat(Hard Knox version) from a friend years ago.

  • This thread is all the proof I will ever need that this tiny site that started 16 years ago has a purpose far beyond chatting about a sport. The community, friendship, bonds...That will always be the true legacy of .NET. I thank Mark for maintaining that spirit in a manner Russell would be proud of.

Les, I'm looking forward to the next few decades worth of Les'isms!

Glad to hear you're doing well.

Les, this is a true testament to the core group here.
A simple request for a couple of bucks to send flowers to your room, turned into all that.

  • Glad your getting healthier and things are coming around Les, didn't want to see you in a Hoveround chasing boobies and get into a hit and run accident. Enjoy your mementos and lets pray you and Darlene can have what I hope based on last year an uneventful one this year except the celebration of many Seahawks wins.

  • This is the kind of man Les is [hard to say was] a true "Defender of the Faith." He would come to your aid when you needed solace, a shoulder, a hand and I'm my opinion, he sacrificed so much for the members of this forum.
In his last email to me, [9/9/2014] he referred to some physical problems he was having and in my return email I told him I would pray for him and his beloved wife, Darlene [who emailed me about his passing. I believe in the power of prayer. It was just Les' time.

In the sky tonight, you will see a particular star shinning brighter than the others and almost pulsating with life. It will shine a most vibrant gold but with a thin blue halo around it telling everyone about the team he loved so much.

That star will never fade and at times will glow even brighter.

I love you Les and pray Darlene heals the pain that makes her heart cry.

He was the first one to welcome me, even as a fan of an opposing team. Truely saddened to hear this. .Net was certainly made better by his contributions.
