Or will the NFL weasel around it somehow? :thfight7:

Also will be a homecoming for GoldenBoy. :2:

2015 Seattle Seahawks Opponents
Home Arizona, San Francisco, St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, NFC South*
Away Arizona, San Francisco, St. Louis, Green Bay, Minnesota, Baltimore, Cincinnati, NFC East*
* Team from that division that finishes in the same spot in the 2014 standings.

I'm sure if they are allowed for their "penalty flag defense" to accompany them the NFL will allow it, if not I expect some NFL scheduling shenanigans to take place. I can see them swaping Cincy and Pissburg.

I bet it doesn't happen, they will probably make us go there for some reason.

Pissburg WILL play in Seattle next season. The schedule vs. AFC teams is on a schedule. It goes like this: Home, away, away, home vs. two AFC teams in the division and away, home, home, away vs. the other two. Since the last two vs. Pissburg have been in Pissburg, the next two vs. Pissburg will be played in Seattle.

There is no conspiracy, you can remove your tinfoil hats now.

We play them here in 2015. Then we play there in 2019. So that theory doesn't work.

Seems kind of skewed since SBXL*

Green Bay, Cincinnati, Baltimore on the road is no joke. I'd rather play Pittsburgh on the road if we could swap any of those in trade and call it even.

The reason it happened this way, is because between the cycles, they adjusted how they make the schedule to keep East Coast teams from having to travel unfairly when playing Western Divisions. If you notice, whichever teams we play at home, the Niners play on the road. We are also the opposite of Arizona. Teams that play us at home will also play the rams at home.

When they made that adjustment, we played the Steelers and that meant that we had to go to their house again. Now that it's back to it's regular alternating cycle for AFC vs NFC games.

After Pittsburgh traveled to Seattle 4 times in a row, it's no wonder the Steelers' message boards were melting down in 1986.
