Seahawks Practice (Injury) Report: Week 3 vs Broncos (Fri)

Apologies for not getting to this sooner. I was overloaded at work yesterday training someone and wasn't able to get to all my normal "non-work" activities I will add today's report as soon as it's available, time willing.


Wednesday Report

I was surprised to see the DNP list until I thought about it. It was a draining outing against the Chargers on Sunday and letting a few of the boys take the day off with a minor ding doesn't surprise me. I'd normally be concerned seeing Miller, Chancellor and Lynch all on the list, but I would suspect it was more of a rest thing than anything else. As of today I expect them all to play, but we'll know more as the Practice reports come out and the gameday status comes out Friday.

They should just etch Simon's name in stone on the DNP report and be done with it.

yeah 10 bucks says it's a rest thing for most of those guys. Kam looked beat on that field.

That game was an aberration and I have no doubt that Kam in particular will come back this week with a vengence.

I feel that Lynch's back is still probably tight and will be so tomorrow too. Meds and massages can take care of that for the most part. But when you work out, the meds lose potency as you burn them out of your body. My calves have finally gotten back to normal. But I felt them aching yesterday. Go Hawks.

Lynch was back to being a full participant today after missing Wednesday. Irvin was added to the DNP list due to an issue with his Ribs (may just be getting an off day, but that's usually done Wednesdays) and Miller is still not practicing. I wonder if that was part of Miller's issues with pass protection (usually his strong suit) against San Diego?

I disagree. Sure they had sub-par performances by their standards in San Diego; but with veterans that are the quality of those two I think you err on the side of health/rest and ensuring that they are good to go rather than on the side of practice reps. No doubt those two know their assignments to a tee whether they are full participants in practice or not.

Irvin's rib injury probably occurred when he was pushing Rivers OOB. :34853_doh:

Losing Zack Miller against Von and Demarcus can be huge. I feel like Miller is the grease that allows the machine that is our offense to run. I remember struggling quite a bit against the colts and texans without him.

Haven't seen the official game statuses yet, but this is what I'm hearing right now:

Miller - Probable
Lynch - Full go
Michael - Ready to Play

Will post the official game status as soon as I see one

Would love to see Michael get into the mix.

If Miller isn't up to his normal self, we may need to mix up the running game a bit and lean on it more for this week.

Shoot, Irvin is questionable when he's ON the field. :lol:

More like Wednesday at practice as he was full go that day.

Any word on the nature and severity of Irvin's rib injury?
