LOB original member. I was bummed when we lost him. Loved the nasty streak in him.

I love BB.

Remember that time he took out 3 dudes on one play? Love the way he plays the game.

Hell yeah, I saw that tweet and loved it. True loyalty, brotherhood, and support: the Seahawk way.

Letting him go might have been the biggest off-season mistake this club made.

Agreed. I simply do not understand why we let him walk. He was a killer compliment to Sherman on the opposite side, with awesome size and one hell of a nasty streak. I love B Max but I wish Browner was still a part of the LOB.

I don't think anyone wanted BB gone ,it's just that some one was going to offer more than we was going to pay him..I miss the guy too and if he gets cut..I bet he finds his way home..

I think it was as simple as him deserving starter money but not having a place to start on our team.

He has close to a $3M cap hit this season, is now on the wrong side of 30 and is still suspended for the season's first four games.

Ultimately, he was beat out by Maxwell. You can't really justify wasting $3M in cap on a bench player. That money basically paid for Kevin Williams and a Doug Baldwin extension.

The big loss was not re-signing Thurmond (who can start at nickel AND return punts), not Browner (I love me some BB though).

Brandon Browner was a great enforcer and a huge hitter.

But Maxwell is far superior in coverage, is just as able to ballhawk, and can punch the ball out of a receiver's hands like a serpent strike. (Not to mention Kam is now our enforcer.) I don't think letting Browner walk was a particularly huge mistake by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm glad he was able to resurrect his career here.
