I have been wanting to get myself a copy Seattle times from the day after our superbowl to frame. Here is a photo to refresh everyones memory:

Seattletimes 02032014

Now, this paper is easy to find on ebay, the EXTREMELY ANNOYING problem is that the paper itself cost only a few bucks, but for some reason it has "International priority shipping" to Sweden, which cost almost 30$!!! I don't want some kind of super fast silk mitten shipping in an armored amphibious truck escorted by a carrier strike group , I just want a paper to put in a frame!! I just want some guy sticking a paper in an envelope, if it gets a bit wrinkled on the way, or takes a week to get here, FINE, as long as shipping does not cost TEN times more than the paper itself. Especially since it is PAPER that weighs nothing and is envelope compatible, its not like it is some kind of bronze statue...

To cut to the chase, I am looking for this paper in the price range of 10 bucks, maybe 15 tops including shipping to sweden (as in non glamorous, crammed in an envelope kind of shipping). ebay seems to not be an option, so does anyone have another idea?

I feel like this paper in a nice frame is the memory of this beautiful Seahawk-achievement that is most likely to stand the test of time. I'm thinking that my Wilson jersey could potentially get lost along the way or that it might be rare to find a suitable "wearing a jersey in public" moment when I am 40 or so, but that I should still be able to convince my hopefully gorgeous and cool future wife that we should have a framed copy of a newspaper (which by then will be old and considered at least slightly cool by even non hawks fans) on the walls in our hopefully gorgeous and cool apartment...

So... any ideas?

Hey folks,

I am wondering if anyone has a high resolution image of the front page of the seattle times superbowl win last year? Love to still get a copy but the shipping up here is terrible. If anyone has any or any leads would greatly appreciate it.

Interesting that this topic came up. I've been thinking about getting mine framed for a while now. I dropped hints to my wife before X-mas, but ended up getting something else from her.

Anyone else have theirs framed? i'm interested to hear other people's details. Not only for conversational purposes but for ideas as well. There's gotta be less expensive ways than having a framing shop do it professionally. Unfortunately I'm not any kind of carpenter.

I was thinking maybe Plexiglass would be safer than glass for the paper if it's dropped and the cover shatters.

Pete is going to be immortalized in the HoF some day with a Frankenstein scar on his left cheek.
