bennetts shoulder?

I remember when Bennett signed here last season the report was he had a shoulder injury he had and would continue to play through. Does anyone recall any updated info on that? Not suggesting he would do this but it would sure suck if we paid him to stay then he decided to have surgery and miss most of the year or something. But again I haven't heard much about it so I don't know how possible that scenario even is. I'm assuming it would be discussed with his contract.

I recall Pete saying something in his post-season presser that it wasn't an issue going forward.

Bennett had both of his shoulders re-evaluated after the season, and it was determined that no surgery was needed.

He played through the same injury his last season in Tampa. And then played with it again this past season.

It doesn't seem to be affecting his play at all.

I read somewhere it healed up during the season.

It's been theorized that the shoulder injury is part of what depressed his FA value last year, and why he's worth more this year. Statistically, he had virtually the same season from Tampa to Seattle.
