If you handed someone the stats from yesterday who hadn't seen the game and asked them who won I don't think Seattle gets many votes. Russell threw for 206 yards, Lynch ran for 39. Exactly what everyone was saying they couldn't do and still win. Peyton threw for 280 and set a Super Bowl record for completions. My oh my how the numbers don't tell the whole story.

4 turnovers would be on the box score = Hawks victory

Nothing else matters on the box score.

in those box scores he shows turnovers, it has total yards rushing and return yards. if you want to be selective in the stats you look at then you are right, if you want to look at the whole box score then I believe there would be a lot of votes for Seattle.

I realize I didn't give them all the numbers. Just making a point about pundits and how numbers don't tell the whole story.
