He was actually on "Almost Live", towards the end of the show's run.
That's a local comedy show from the late eighties, early nineties that was super cool. A national network actually tried to syndicate it for national consumption, but the local flavor to the humor didn't translate well and the idea was nixed. (Ballard Driving School, all the Kent jokes, etc, etc).
They have a current re-imagined version of the show called "The (206)"...a reference to the original Seattle/King county area code.
