How is it even possible to audible at the Clink?

  • When you visit the Clink (aka the 49ers) and try to change the play at the line, guys can't hear you. How do they get the play changed?

  • It's really not possible to audible. The best you can do is hand signals that count as audibles. That's why the Clink is really rough on offenses that are intricate and do a lot of "check with me" or audibles like the Patriots, Denver, or.......believe it or not......San Fransisco.
