Raiders or 49'ers?

Who do you think was the better rival?

....and why?!!

For me it's the Raiders! The reason is that for me I was a teenager when the rivalry started, we had our Raider Buster tshirts (I think Kiro made them up?) We would get so whipped up. I still don't like 'em. But I was a 49ers fan pre-2002. I loved Montana, Rice, Young Walsh, and Lott etc. They were a fabulous bunch

I too remember the fun rivalry but it was always one-sided. The Seahawks hated the Broncos and Raiders in the AFC West but they could have cared less about us.

This rivalry with the 49ers? That's real. That's BOTH sides hating each other.

here in the bay area, all raiders fans have the seahawks' back this weekend. they might hate the ninas even more than we do :thirishdrinkers:

Yup. My favorite thing about raider fans is that they never feel the need to remind you how many superbowls they won over two decades ago.

This. :13: Back in the day, the other AFCW teams never really respected/hated the 'Hawks like the current Niners do.

And ditto for me on both these posts.

The Raiders took a kicker in the first round, that's unreal.

They get my vote.

Niners, no particular meaning, these games just feel more intense.

I hated the Broncos ..Donkeyface and the guy who cheap shot Largent

Back in the AFC days, I always hated the Broncos more than I did the Raiders. I think 'ol Horse Face had a lot to do with that...
