Clink adding seats?

There were reports back in 2013 that the Seahawks may add 2-3000 new seats and could upgrade even more than that to cap at 72,000.

I am not finding any new news reports on if this is still a go. Do any of you locals know if this will actually come to be, or is it still just talk? The team is hot and ticket sales along with season ticket holders is at a high. What are your thoughts on this proposed expansion?

Furthermore, I think a Superbowl hosted at Seattle would be sweet, but last I heard hotels, parking, accommodations not enough to win a bid. At least more seats would help more fans get to watch the game...

I read this somewhere as well. I thought the number was around 5k that they could add.

We've sold out every game for how many years in a row ? I would think this would be a smart business investment; our ranks of fans are actually swelling.
