Anyone catch this? Nice little feature.

Thing that stood out to me was when Russell said something to the effect of "yeah the financial stability is nice but at the end of the day your happiness doesn't come from that. I want to be the best to ever play." I know there's been a lot of talk about hometown discounts vs getting paid and this might be a little hint from Dangeruss? I don't know, maybe I'm reaching here.

That would be 31 flavors of awesome. I'm sure he'll still get a fatty contract, but it would be cool, really cool, if he didn't demand stupid money.

Money buys you freedom. Russell is already a free bird. I am sure he is already happy making 500k and being the face of the Seahawks. He will get paid, but I think he puts the team first when negotiating.
