How come we are the #1 seed and we play Saturday? What the hell....I mean one day doesn't make much difference but shouldn't WE get the extra day anyway?

So...13 days rest instead of 14, and only 6 days of rest instead of 7 for the Saints PLUS they have to travel? I'm ok with it.

Our opponet has one less day too. 13 days is plenty, with our history of coming off byes , I don't want to be too rusty

Might be better. If we win, I believe we will play the following Sunday, which gives us one extra day.

Yeah, but, it's a net gain in my opinion. So they're not really screwing us. They're really screwing the Saints.

Yea I guess one less day to try and figure out how Percy factors into our offense is good for us....no film, and no time to prepare...I like it too I guess

Plus the extra day for the NFCC

Saints played a grueling, hard hitting, physical game of attrition yesterday in harsh weather. 1 extra day matters to them a lot more than to us.

I for one am thankful for the Saturday game as I would have to miss it otherwise

The #1/#2 seeds rotate Sat/Sun games every couple of years, but there's no hard science to it.

Let's just view it as "Hangover at work prevention" or "An extra day to celebrate the win before work" scenario.
