• Carroll also said WR Percy Harvin was held out of practice Tuesday and called him to day to day.

• Carroll said Jermaine Kearse was back Tuesday from the concussion he suffered against the Vikings.

• The team added to its overall cornerback depth by signing Akeem Auguste to the practice squad and releasing tight end Cooper Helfet. Auguste played at South Carolina and was released by the Browns in August.

Well I feel rather certain that there is likely no other CB sitting on another PS around the league that PC/JS think are better than the two guys that were signed to the squad. Also, likely no other street free agent. I don't know what kind of conversation the Hawks had with Winfield but we know Trufant had a work out. So likely there aren't any street free agent CBs that the Hawks felt were better than these two new roster additions. And there are some significant names out there. These two guys may never play more than STs.
