Talk like that freaks me the hell out...
Football gods frown on talk of dynasty after the first win, let alone before you even have a first ring!
It wasn't but a few years ago that, after a hell of a season where the Packers looked invincible and set up for a bit of a run, that Packer fans were swaggering around and talking about how Rodgers was going to get 4 or 5 rings and how much better he was than Farve and how he would obliterate all records, and how they had the best front office who picked the best players and how they were set up for a decade or more.
Then reality set in, modern football happened - big time players got paid big time, other players got paid to be on other teams and some other key players they banked money on suffered nasty injuries or else lost a step, the front office lost some key cogs, missed on some players...
Now, Aaron Rodgers, is starting to get beat down and the best he can do is "bide his time" and look for a chance to "slip in" and win a Superbowl against teams that are much more talented. Packer fans are thinking "we will be lucky if he gets a second ring".
The worm turns too damn fast in the NFL to be thinking about anything but the year you are in, or for that matter, the next game.
All I want... right now, is this Superbowl, that's all I give a crap about as a fan.
