  • If so Bevell should piss him off more often. He was in rare beast mode form even for him in the 2nd half.

  • Ha! That'd be sweet if he did. I couldn't believe he called that pass play. That took some cajones considering RW basically just had to lean forward for the TD. What were they... about 6 inches from the goal line. I would have been PO'd if they didn't complete that.

  • It should be more about the TEAM and not the individual. Reminds me of when Shaun whined about not winning the rushing title. Wilson didn't give a damn when he didn't get the rookie td record, he was more happy about the win.

No way. Lynch ruined the interior of the Arizona D on the two previous rushes. He earned the right to punch it in.

  • I don't think it's about the stats. It's about Lynch being able to get two inches on third-and-goal. Sure, it worked, but it was a bit too cute.

Not complaining about the play-call, just getting why Lynch would be insulted.

  • They should do it again in the playoffs, have him break the huddle on short and goal, flip off Bevel and then hand him the ball. Call it the finger fake.

At game speed I doubt they processed it that quickly, and they were already in their Defensive position. But yeah, that's pretty obvious if you have time to think about it.

  • I mean, look, Darrell Bevell was still calling pass plays with under nine minutes to go and up three possessions. I just feel like Marshawn was doing that a little bit for me. Not 1% for me, or even .001% for me. But still, just a little bit for me.

He was doing it for him, naturally. BUT I also think he was doing it to try and save his QB!

  • It's nice to know that the players are thinking the same thing we are.

My question is, if Pete was so dead-set on the run in 2010 that he fired Jeremy Bates for not sticking to it, what's he doing THIS year?

  • Bevell is doing some seriously head scratching stuff this year. Throwing suspense into games that need no suspense. And trying to get his QB killed in the process.
